What happens in the 'Dam, stays in the 'Dam ...

ELSA  roadtrips are open  to everyone, not just law students! For the Amsterdam trip we will be leaving London from outside TEMPLE station on Thursday night (prob. about 10pm). Therefore you will only miss Friday from uni / work. We will be travelling by coach down to Dover where we will take the ferry to Calais. From Calais we will drive through the night, passing through France and Belgium before arriving in Amsterdam about 10am Friday morning. You are advised to catch some zzzs during this journey so that you can make the most of your time in A'dam. For the insomniacs there will be DVDs played on the coach (if you have some good films or cds, feel free to bring them!) When we get to A'dam we will leave our bags at the hostel storage room and then everyone is free to get breakfast, go sightseeing,  visit a coffee shop or whatever else. You will then return to the hostel  about 2pm, where the ELSA rep will give you your room keys so that you can put your bags in your room. Optional extras offered by the travel company (Outgoing Ltd) are (a) the pub-crawl  through Leidseplein and (b) the  disco at Dansen bij Jansen.  However, you are completely free to do your thing.
