Allen & Overy Competition 09
Allen & Overy has launched a new online business game, A&O Game On, which offers contestants the chance to net a cool £1,500.
A new challenge will be released every few weeks and each module will focus on either the commercial aspects of the work A&O does or the key skills assessed during its selection process. Throughout the challenge, participants will be guided through the tasks by A&O lawyers and staff.
The game is open to all UK undergraduates and is for teams of up to four people. At the end of the competition, the top five teams will be invited to the firm's London office in April 2009 for the grand final. They will compete in business situation exercises in a bid to win the cash prize.
Graduate recruitment partner, Susan Hazledine, said: "A&O Game On is designed to provide a practical insight into commercial law and the skills needed to become a successful solicitor. We hope it will be an interactive and innovative way for students to learn about the legal sector from our people."
